Price hikes anticipated – but how much?
The German publication’s report suggests a modest price increase across the board, with the Galaxy Z Flip 8 starting at €1,299 for the 256GB model – a €100 jump from its predecessor. The 512GB version will command €1,499, marking an additional €180. For the Z Fold 8, expect to pay €1,999 for 256GB, €2,199 for 512GB, and a premium €2,599 for the 1TB configuration. The Z Fold 8 Ultra follows a similar trajectory, with the 256GB model priced at €2,199, the 512GB at €2,399, and the 1TB variant reaching €2,799.

Watch line sees incremental price boosts
The Galaxy Watch 9 is also getting a bump, with the 40mm Bluetooth model starting at just €409 – an increase of €40 compared to the Watch 8. The LTE version will retail for €459. The 44mm Bluetooth Watch 9 is priced at €439, while the LTE variant will cost €489. Finally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 LTE will be available for €749, a €50 increase over the original Ultra, launched in 2024.

Stacked battery improvements & faster charging
Beyond the price increases, insiders are anticipating significant improvements to the Z Fold 8. Rumors point to a substantial 5,000 mAh battery, a considerable upgrade from the 4,400 mAh found in last year's Z Fold 7. Samsung is also dialing up wired charging speeds, boosting it to 45W – a jump from the 25W previously offered. The Z Fold 8 Wide will reportedly pack a 4,800 mAh battery.
