T-mobile insider buys $1m in shares amid digital transition
T-Mobile's Chief Broadband, Enterprise & Emerging Business officer Andre Almeida has purchased over $1 million worth of the carrier's U.S. common stock, a clear sign of confidence in the company's digital transformation.

Almeida's $1m buy a positive sign amid exec sales
Almeida's purchase of 5,097.44 shares at prices ranging from $196.12 to $196.18 on May 1 adds to the optimism surrounding T-Mobile's ongoing shift towards a digital-centric Business model. With this transaction, Almeida now owns 44,849.602 shares of T-Mobile, valued at approximately $8.72 million based on Monday's closing price of $194.42.
However, the $979,050 sale of 5,000 shares by Chief Business and Product Officer Mike Katz on the same day offers a contrasting view. Although Katz did not use a pre-planned trading strategy, his open market sale suggests he may not share the same level of enthusiasm for T-Mobile's future as Almeida.
Another notable executive sale came from Marcelo Claure, who offloaded 550,000 T-Mobile shares worth $119.7 million just before news broke of a potential merger with Deutsche Telekom, which sent T-Mobile's shares plummeting to as low as $182.01 a week ago.
