A report by ActivTrak, which tracked the work patterns of 164,000 employees before and after implementing ai tools, reveals a stark contrast to the earlier predictions. The study found that, rather than a decrease in workload, many workers are now handling more tasks in the same amount of time. Email and chat usage doubled, while software adoption skyrocketed by 94%.
