Apple poised to unleash siri 2.0 with google power – privacy concerns loom

Apple is set to dramatically overhaul its voice assistant, Siri, at this week’s WWDC 2026, promising a leap in intelligence fueled by a custom Google Gemini model. After a year-long delay, the tech giant is finally delivering on a promise to revitalize its flagship AI offering, aiming to address past performance issues and elevate Siri’s capabilities.

The keynote will showcase Siri 2.0 alongside significant operating system updates for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, watchOS 27, and even the Vision Pro’s visionOS 27.
