Google Messages is rolling
out a series of updates designed to improve the user experience within its RCS chat platform. The latest additions offer enhanced functionality, including real-time location sharing and a revamped approach to message deletion.Real-time location sharing now dynamically updates
Previously, the app offered static location sharing, providing a single, unchanging address. Now, users can share their location as they move, with the address updating dynamically. This addresses a key limitation of the earlier feature.
The updates, which are being gradually released, also include a new way to notify contacts within group chats. Users can now utilize the @ symbol to directly notify individuals, even if their chats are muted. This aims to ensure important messages reach the intended recipients.
