Huawei unfolds the mate x7 foldable smartphone with enhanced cameras and durability
After much anticipation, Huawei has finally launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Mate X7, in Spain. This high-end device boasts impressive camera capabilities, a durable design, and powerful performance.
Camera prowess
The Mate X7 features a distinctive camera module with a blend of curved and straight lines. It comes in two colors, red and black, both with vegan or synthetic leather backs. The phone's imaging capabilities rival those of top traditional smartphones, offering a 43% boost in color reproduction and 96% increased light entry.
Quad-camera setup
The Mate X7 boasts a quad-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom and macro capabilities, and a 40MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, it features two selfie cameras, one on the outer and one on the inner display, both with 8-megapixel sensors.
Durable design
The Mate X7's body is reinforced with a Kunlun Glass exterior, a 3-layer structure to protect the internal screen. Its 5-arc hinge is made from ultra-high-strength steel. The device is certified IP58 and IP59 for dust and water resistance.
Performance and battery life
Under the hood, the Mate X7 packs a 5,300mAh battery with a silicon carbide anode, supporting 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also features a 3,550mm² graphene heat dissipation system.
Pricing and availability
The Huawei Mate X7 is now available in Spain in white and black, priced at 2,099 euros. It comes bundled with a free Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro in any color, along with 12 months of Huawei Care and a screen protection plan.
