Temporary feed adjustments

'Dear Algo' requests adjust your feed for three days, enabling you to stay connected to current conversations.

Deleting your request

Public 'Dear Algo' posts can be deleted before they expire, giving you control over the temporary changes.

Sharing and reposting

You can also repost someone else's 'Dear Algo' request, applying it to your own feed preferences.

Global rollout planned

Meta initially tested 'Dear Algo' in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK before expanding it to the US. The company aims to introduce it in more countries soon.
