Pixel 11 pro fold leak reveals familiar design, big battery expected

Ahead of its rumored August launch, AndroidHeadlines and Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @OnLeaks) have allegedly uncovered the design of the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The foldable looks unchanged, for better or worse

Based on the leaked images, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's design closely resembles its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, at first glance. This includes a 1:1 aspect ratio for the primary display, likely unchanged screen sizes, and familiar screen bezels.

A notable cosmetic change is the rear-facing camera island, which appears more elegant compared to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's design.

A bigger battery in the fold?

Rumors suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may retain its predecessor's 5,015mAh battery capacity or even increase it, given its slightly thinner dimensions compared to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

This would be a strong advantage over Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7, which packs a 4,400mAh battery in a thinner form factor.

Faster processor, but no other major upgrades

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to upgrade its Tensor G5 chipset to a newer, faster Tensor G6, but other specifications remain unclear or unconfirmed.

This leaves Google with a lot of catching up to do in terms of innovation and differentiation from its foldable competitors, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Apple's rumored iPhone Fold.
